BA+ B.Ed. is an undergraduate dual-degree program, which is of a total of 4 years duration divided into 8 semesters. Through the course, the students are offered in-depth knowledge for the different subjects, which are included in Arts & Professional Studies including Hindi, English, Political Science, Geography, History, Economics, Psychology as well as Sociology. The students who wish to pursue their career in the field of teaching can apply for the course, which enables them to experiences hands-on experience in the classroom teaching and communication skills. The main aim of this course is to prepare the students by providing theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of teaching methodologies and other pedagogies. The minimum eligibility to pursue the BA B.Ed. program is to pass 10+2 from a recognized school/board.

3. B.A. B.Ed. (B.A+ B.Ed.) Eligibility Criteria
In order to pursue a dual degree in BA + B.Ed., the candidates will have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirements to fulfil by the students for admission to BA + B.Ed. course are:
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized school or board.
• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) in the 12th exam with all the subjects put together,
4. Admission Process
The admission process for BA B.Ed. varies from college to college. While some of the colleges take direct admission to the course based on merit obtained by the student in the 12th exam, Some of the colleges also conduct institute level entrance tests and interview to test the eligibility of the student for admission.
After the student applies for admission through the application form, he/she will be issued the date of the entrance test if the eligibility criteria are met by the student. Further, the test will be conducted to test the concepts of the students followed by a personal interview round. Based on overall marks obtained by the student in the college level entrance examination and in 12th, the student will be called for the final admission process. Finally, the students will have to pay the admission fee and get their documents verified to complete the admission process.
5. BA+ B.Ed. Course Fees
The course fee for BA + B.Ed. the course depends on various factors such as:
• Government/ Private College.
• Ranking of the college.
• Merit of the student
• Entrance exam/ direct admission
For example, government colleges will have fewer fees as compared to private colleges. The highly ranked colleges will have more course fees as compared to the low ranked colleges. The students with more scores in the qualifying exams will have more scholarships as compared to the students with less score. Similarly, the students who have qualified for an entrance exam will have to pay a low course fee as compared to students seeking direct admission to the course.
The average course fee for BA + B.Ed. integrated course in India ranges in between 85K to 2 Lakhs per annum including all charges.
